At Summit Behavioral Health: Florham Park, we put our patients and their needs first as they focus on achieving long-term sobriety from addictive substance use.

We are an outpatient addiction treatment facility located in Florham Park, New Jersey, that conveniently serves New York and Pennsylvania. We offer convenience and flexibility as people come here to trade in their substance misuse for a brighter future. We are also a proud Delphi Behavioral Health Group facility. Delphi is a leading substance treatment provider that makes the Delphi Difference to personalize treatment with low clinician-to-patient ratios that ensure each patient gets the attention and care they need to help them move on from substance use.

We employ that difference here. We understand that no two people’s experiences with addiction are the same, and the same applies to recovery. Everyone takes a different path as they put substance dependence behind them, so we offer several placements to meet people at whatever stage of addiction recovery they are. Our clients are relearning how to live substance-free, finding new ways to deal with everyday challenges without substances, and remaining open to new experiences and people who can help them reach their goals.

We offer different placements along the continuum of care, as explained by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, but with a personal approach that helps our clients know that our medical professionals and staff are invested in their well-being and recovery from addiction.

At Summit Behavioral Health: Florham Park, We Offer:

Partial care: Patients in partial care receive support as they exit residential care but need a structured environment that offers more flexibility and a focus on gaining independence over time. They can either stay on-site in a facility to receive this level of care or stay in another place, such as transitional housing, and then attend a day program at a facility.

Medical professionals discussing Ocean Breeze RecoveryPeople who need more support in avoiding relapse, as well as those who have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder and a mental health disorder, can benefit from partial care. They receive individualized and intensive therapies for a specific number of hours a week.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) and Outpatient Treatment (OP): Both IOP and OP placements allow recovering patients more control over their schedules so they can take care of personal responsibilities. This option is often more affordable because clients can live at home and travel to a facility to receive therapy for a specific number of hours.

IOP requires nine or more hours, while OP requires fewer nine hours. People who are in the early stages of substance dependence can benefit from this placement as well as those who have been to treatment but need more support.

Summit Behavioral Health: Florham Park clients can also receive cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy as they address the issues that led to their substance use disorders. We also support the families of loved ones who are battling addiction with family programming. We help them use tools and strategies that can help them remain strong for the ones they care about and themselves.

We also have programs supporting the family as they learn how to help their loved one overcome substance addiction, and 12-step education to help people in recovery remain committed to their decision to live without substances.
